Bike: Condor
Distance: 100.05 miles
Time: 6 hours 29 minutes 51 seconds
Average speed: 15.4mph
Maximum speed: 28.5mph
Odometer (at end): 4247.8 miles
Ouch! Relatively easy on the way out (first 50 miles at 17.5mph) then turned back into 20-25mph gusting headwind (though it eased up as darkness fell).
A pleasant enough ride though - the sun was out for much of it (until darkness fell...) and I stopped twice for tea (at Snape on the outward and return leg) and once for chips (on Southwold pier). I love this out-and-back route, which highlights some of Suffolk's finest features.
First '100' since late 2008 (when I did the same route, 30 minutes quicker); and first bike ride since November last year. I've also done a bit of turbo training, but nothing spectacular. I need to get into some kind of shape for the Ely hardriders next month...
