sense/laziness

Woke up at 6:15, and though it wasn't snowing it looked bloody cold out. My head was bunged up, my legs were sore, and my bed was warm. So I didn't head out to race. The Antelope 3up is now less than a week away, and I want to be in good nick for that, so some rest is a good idea.

Not too good trying to ride at speed this morning. Took it easy tonight. Going to bed now (early) in the hope my body clears out some lung gunk..

Don't worry, once the adrenaline/performance enhancing caffeine kicks in on Saturday, we'll be dancing. I'm down on pace at the moment, so who knows. Recovered from the cold though.

I'm a bit better. Got a proper sleep last night (tonight's written off though for Mal's birthday) and I'm taking Echinacea and some other stuff. Still snotty but breathing a bit better. You down on pace still equals hippy in pain..
Bring on the coffee! Perhaps I should abstain from caffeine tomorrow?

I reckon you'd be better off with some Echinace-rythropoietin. Try the Ealing pharmacy.

You'll be fine, no Lemsip Max though, there's something in it which is banned under CTT regs :s

Did you get a skinsuit? Jersey? Can of green spraypaint?

We'll get coffee before catching the train, that'll give us something to moan about. Don't abstain, why ruin a Friday? Just drink twice as much coffee on the Saturday.

They don't actually drug test do they? (I'm fscked!)

Anyway, I hate Lemsip. It's disgusting stuff. I drink bourbon to cure colds. Or vodka.

I have a special green surprise for you.. mwuahahaa!! mwuuuhhahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!

"Double coffee rations Saturday" CHECK!

I don't think Dick Pound reads this blog, so I think you're safe.

I like your idea regarding medicine, but don't have too much *before* the event... I'll be suspicious if I see a hip flask in the bottle cage. And don't try and give any 'cough mixture' to Louis, he's a mere boy compared to us (I felt old emailing in the entry forms... though not as old as you and Richard :p).

I, erm, await the surprise with great trepidation and awe.

I forget you are younger. It's my complete and utter immaturity combined with your height and Big Words Factor(tm).
I'll forgo the booze until after the ride, promise. :)

In Australia, doesn't youth last longer anyway?
