Some idiot drivers out, but not too fussed - why overtake me on a narrow country lane when a bus is coming the other way? You are going to have to pull in for the bus, thus making me stop too. Duh. The Shotley road also contained its usual share of impatient morons - I was never in too much danger, but it's kind of depressing to watch them.
Legs feeling pretty good after 2 days of rest, and I didn't give them a mauling today because I've got a hard weekend ahead: the Finchley Crits at Hillingdon on Saturday, followed by the West London Combine 10 on Sunday morning.
